Wednesday, Oct. 10th, is International Walk to School
Day, the largest day of climate action in Marin County! Join your friends and
have fun walking, biking, skating, or scooting that morning for a
treat and a chance to win a beautiful, royal blue Alite backpack and
HydraPak. Walk and roll for fun and to help combat climate change.
Attention fans of the book Refugee!
TODAY at lunch we are writing postcards to refugee and making buttons to
celebrate the All School Read. If you’d like to participate, come to Ms.
Manwaring’s room 39 at lunch. Hope to see you there! And remember Refugee
author Alan Gratz will be at Mill Valley Middle School in October, to talk
about his new book, Grenade. Come to the library to get a pre-order form
if you would like to buy a copy signed by Alan Gratz. Book Passage will donate
a portion of the sales to the MVMS library.
Attention 8thGraders: Do you have Ropes Course
permission slips or donations in your backpack? If you do, ask your teacher if
you can bring them to the office RIGHT NOW!
