THIS IS THE LAST DAY OF OUR SPECIAL ALL SCHOOL READ SCHEDULE TODAY

Monday, October 8th is a Professional Development Day for Staff and a school holiday for all students.

Wednesday, Oct. 10th is International Walk to School Day, the largest day of climate action in Marin County! Join your friends and have fun walking, biking, skating, or scooting that morning for a treat and a chance to win a beautiful, royal blue Alite backpack and HydraPak.  Walk and roll for fun and to help combat climate change.

Refugee author Alan Gratz will be at Mill Valley Middle School next Friday to talk about his new book, Grenade. Come to the library to get a pre-order form if you would like to buy a copy signed by Alan Gratz. Book Passage will donate a portion of the sales to the MVMS library.

Attention 8th Graders: The Ropes Course Field Trips begin on Tuesday, October 9th. 8th Graders will attend with their Panther Time teachers. Tuesday the following Panther Time classes will attend: Aquino, Iyer, Leonard and Green. Remember to wear tennis shoes or hiking boots, comfortable pants, sweatshirts and dress in layers for changing weather. You also need to bring your own lunch, a water bottle and a positive attitude!

All Students are reminded that there is no skateboarding or scootering on campus before, during, or after school! Students are to PICK UP THEIR WHEELS when they arrive on campus and leave them in a classroom for the school day- either your first period class or the last period class. Students violating this rule may have their skateboard or scooter confiscated.

All Students please power down your cell phones or other personal electronics NOW and put them in your backpack until the end of the school day.
