Next Wednesday, October 7, is International Walk and Roll to School DayStudent Council will be handing out treats in the front of the school for all students who walk, bike, scooter, or skateboard to school.  This is the largest day of action at Mill Valley Middle School, in Marin County, and in the world.  Remember, if you live too far, get dropped off so you can walk part way. So everyone, join in and let’s make a difference by “going green” to school on Wednesday, October 7th.

Beyond Differences leader applications are due to your counselor by tomorrow, Friday, October 2. 

Calligraphy Club will meet on Wednesdays and Fridays at 7:15am - please note the time correction.

Calling all lovers of scary stories and adventures! The MVMS Book Club will read “Doll Bones” in October! A creepy book about three kids who must put a ghost to rest, Doll Bones is perfect for Halloween. Check it out the from the library and read chapters 1-5 for our first meeting on Wednesday, October 7 in Room 1 at lunch.

There is an informational meeting for the Mountain Biking Club today, Wednesday, at lunch in the Multi-media room.
Beyond Differences leader applications are due to your counselor by Friday, October 2.

The first meeting for the Rubik’s Cube Club is next Monday, October 5th in Room 36, Upper 7th Grade Pod—Ms. Peets’ room.


The Cartoon club will meet at lunch today in Room 19, Mrs. Geissler's room in Upper Sea.  If you forgot to come last week you can still join the club this week.

The use of the field at lunch is for playing field games such as soccer, frisbee, football, basketball, or an organized game of tag. Students are not allowed to rough house or table-top each other. Students seen behaving in such a manner will be removed from the field and lose privileges for the week.  
 
Club News
Calligraphy Club will begin tomorrow, Wednesday, at 7:45am. We will meet twice a week on Wednesday and Friday mornings in Room 19, Ms Geissler's room.


There is a mandatory informational meeting for the Videography Club today at lunch in Room 12, Ms. Nowell’s room.  Bring your lunch to room 12 today to find out more about the Videography club!

Attention all members of the 7th grade A-Team for WEB: don't forget that you are invited to a pizza lunch to thank you for all of your hard work this past summer during the WEB training days and orientation. We will also talk about how to run lollipop sales, so make sure you come to Pizzeria Schulman (that's Room 11) for a slice and a treat and training for the next phase of your job!
