"Better for the hands to be busy than the mouth."

We have received a number of concerns from parents and teachers about students not being safe and responsible when riding their bikes to and from school. It is imperative that students follow all traffic laws, including, but not limited to riding on the right hand side of the road and in the bike lane, stopping at all stop signs and traffic lights, riding with the flow of traffic and not against it, walking bikes in crosswalks, and being aware of surroundings. Please be sure to ride in a safe and responsible manner when coming to and from school.

"...Do you know what you are? You are a marvel. You are unique. In all the years that have passed, there has never been another [young person] like you. Your legs, your arms, your clever fingers, the way you move. You may become a Shakespeare, a Michaelangelo, a Beethoven. Yes, you are a marvel. And when you grow up, can you then harm another who is, like you, a marvel?" - Pablo Casals

Do you still have your Cross Country uniform? Please turn it in TODAY to Ms. Palmer so you can receive your deposit.
