Cabaret News: Thank you to everyone who auditioned for the Ensemble Cast and Talent Acts for the Cabaret. CALLBACK LISTS will be posted on the CABARET BOARD and on the CABARET WEBSITE after school on Friday, 11/30. If you do not see your name on this list, it does NOT necessarily mean that you have not been selected for the cast; it may just mean that we have enough information from your first audition. Callbacks will be held immediately after school on Monday, December 3rd in the Chorus Room. You are required to remain for the entire callback audition.

FINAL CAST AND CREW LISTS will be posted on the CABARET BOARD and on the CABARET WEBSITE after school on Friday, 12/7.

Remember 'A Night in Paris' the Parent-Daughter Dance will held TONIGHT. Boutonnieres and tiaras will be sold for $3 and $5 respectively, cash only. Semi-formal attire. 

Attention to 8th grade art students: You need to turn in your permission slip to Ms. Leonard by Friday morning to attend the art field trip. The trip is on, rain or shine! Students who are in an A class will not be attending PE and are to come directly to Ms. Leonard's room instead.

ALL STUDENTS WILL AUDITION TODAY, THURSDAY, 11/29.  Please bring your audition form with attached photo TO THE AUDITION.  You will check in outside of the Chorus Room, receive a name tag, and proceed to the Chorus Room.  If you CANNOT attend the audition on Thursday, please email allenmari@hotmail.com (NOT FROM AN MVMS EMAIL ADDRESS!) to arrange for an alternative audition date.

Cabaret News: Thanks to all of those who signed up for auditions to be in the Ensemble Cast or a Talent Act and to those who handed in their applications to be a part of the Stage Crew. The first day of auditions for the Ensemble Cast is TODAY after school in the Chorus Room.  Please remember to BRING YOUR SIGNED APPLICATION FORM as you will be required to turn it in before the audition. You do not need to have anything prepared -- just bring water and lots of enthusiasm!!  You are required to stay for the ENTIRE AUDITION. If you have questions about Cabaret, go to the Cabaret site under Student Activities on the MVMS website.  It is also VERY important for you to read and listen to the Daily Bulletin to get the latest information as well.

Holiday Wishes news: This Thursday bring your lunch to the multimedia room, and learn about the work of vital local organizations like Homeward Bound, the largest agency in Marin helping the homeless, or the Marin Foster Care Parents Association, dedicated to making the lives of foster families in Marin better. Some foster kids are students just like you; some of them have been separated from their families due to abuse or neglect, but they are still able to learn and thrive in a family able to offer them safety and stability. Come on Thursday and hear about these and other organizations and ask questions to find out more!

Do you like to cook?  You could make a meal with your family and friends, and bring it to homeless families and kids in San Rafael, serving them a delicious homemade meal, through the Homeward Bound program. That’s just one of the many volunteer opportunities in our community that you can check out. Get details on the Community First page on our website for lots of others. Get volunteer credit, and get involved in your community. It feels good to give to others all year, and especially at this time of year. Check out the photos of our last event on the Community First bulletin board.
