Attention MVMS staff and students.  The Go Green Challenge is on! From now until next Friday, April 10th, Student Council will choose three surprise days for the Go Green Challenge. If you walk, bike, or carpool to school please come by the front of the school and pick up a little treat.  Also, put your name in for a drawing that will be held on Friday, April 10th.  Grand prize is a GoPro Camera.  We will also have movie tickets to give away as well as our traditional bike blender.  It makes amazing smoothies for all who participate.  So remember, bike, walk, or carpool to school to show your Panther Pride.  See you out there…which day?  You never know.

No April Foolin’ -  This is the real deal -   Two Days left - that’s only 48 hours -  a mere 2,880 minutes till all your treasures will disappear from Lost and Found.  Go pick up your stuff from the library Lost and Found rack before tomorrow afternoon.

 "Your success and happiness lie in you."

Missing a jacket?  A water bottle?  A lunch bag?  Boots, shoes, pants?  it’s probably waiting for you in the Lost and Found.   Before you leave for the weekend visit the Lost and Found and collect your stuff. It all disappears one week from today!

Students, Safe Routes to School will be sponsoring free bike repair and family bike ride after school today, Friday, March 27th on the blacktop at the middle school. For more information, see the flyer posted on the wall outside Mr. Nelson’s office.

It’s not too late to vote for your favorite California Young Reader Medal book. Read the three books in the middle school or young adult category and submit your ballot in the library by next Monday, March 30. You will be invited to a pizza party and may earn extra credit in your Language Arts class.

Club News

WEB Leaders: Today at lunch in Room 11 we will be making final decisions on the WEB events for the rest of the year.  Come by if you’ve discussed it already, come by if you haven’t been able to make the first couple of meetings.  Again, that’s today at lunch in Room 11.  Bring food to go along with the treats we’ll have.
