March Madness 2015 is almost here!  Come to the gym next Wednesday, March 25^th, anytime between 1:30 and 3:30 and participate in the basketball free throw event to raise money for breast cancer research. Pick up a sponsor sheet from Ms Front in room 29.  Then get sponsors to donate money for each free throw shot you make.  Bring your sponsor sheets to the event!  Every participant will receive a small gift from Boys Against Breast Cancer!  There will be a gift for the top fundraiser so come with your best shot!

Attention all 7th graders.  It's time for our traditional 7th grade Spring Fling Dance. This Friday, March 20th, we will be hosting a dance just for 7th graders from 7:00pm to 8:30pm. Be sure to read the posters in the 7th grade area for the full details. The cost is $10 and you need your student ID card. We encourage you to dress nicely as the dance is semi-formal. Lots of treats, snacks, drinks, and great music will fill the room. We will be selling pre-tickets at lunch next Wednesday in the 7th grade area.Buy your ticket early for quick entry to the dance. Listen to the bulletin for details. 

It’s not too late to vote for your favorite California Young Reader Medal book. Read the three books in the middle school or young adult category and submit your ballot in the library by March 30. You will be invited to a pizza party and may earn extra credit in your Language Arts class.

There will be a mandatory meeting at lunch today in the gym for  ALL basketball teams.

Club News 

Attention all Intermediate Band students.  There will be a rehearsal tomorrow, Friday, at lunch to help us prepare for this weekend's performance.  Treats will be provided so please make sure to attend.

Attention all Mural Club Members:  There is a meeting today in room 73 at lunch.  We are going to layout the mural.  Please attend if you want to be part of the process.  We will also have our picture taken for the yearbook.  See you there!

Attention 6th graders interested in cooking club! This is the last call for ANY 6th grader that is interested in cooking club! There will be an informational meeting TOMORROW (Friday) at lunch in Ms. Zeisler's room, room 10 in Upper Earth. See Ms. Zeisler if you have any questions.
