Cabaret News: For those who missed the
BIG REVEAL last week, Cabaret 2019
is going to be HIGH MIDDLE SCHOOL MUSICAL!! You can
audition to be in the Ensemble Cast, to be a part of a Talent Act, or apply to
be part of the Backstage Crew. If you are interested in participating
in MSM, information about Cabaret can be found on the
MVMS website under Student Activities. Please download and print out all
applications. Crew applications can be submitted to the Main Office,
and are due Friday, Nov. 16. Bring Cast applications with
a photo attached to your audition on EITHER Tuesday,
Nov. 27 OR Thursday, Nov. 29 for Ensemble Cast and Wednesday,
Nov. 28 for Talent Acts. SIGN UPS for auditions are on the Cabaret Board
next to Ms. Lamar's office in the Main Hallway. We're all in this
together!
Fall Fundraiser News: We needed a little extra time to get those
tallies all finished, so the raffle drawing and announcement of top sellers
will be made TODAY! Go Panthers!
Students! Please
remember to lock your bikes every day and make sure if you are not riding your
bike home at the end of the school day, it is removed from campus so that it is
not a target for theft.
Listen up MVMS students!
There are Box Tops for Education on many of the products we
use. Look for them on your household and food purchases! You probably see them
all the time and think nothing of them. Well, they are worth 10 cents or more.
Our school has earned over $400 dollars with box tops. We want to raise more!
If you see a box top, please cut it out and bring them Ms.Thebaut in Room 92!!!!.
All students are
reminded to CLEAN UP THEIR LUNCHES before leaving their lunch tables or going
to the field.
MVMS Basketball is coming up! Tryouts will begin on Friday,
November 9th and will continue through Friday, November 16th.
You must attend all sessions for your grade group. The full schedule is
on the MVMS website under Student Activities>Student Athletics.
Everyone please power
down your cell phones or other personal electronics NOW and put them in your
backpack until the end of the school day.
