Cabaret News: For those who missed the BIG REVEAL last week, Cabaret 2019 is going to be HIGH MIDDLE SCHOOL MUSICAL!!  You can audition to be in the Ensemble Cast, to be a part of a Talent Act, or apply to be part of the Backstage Crew.  If you are interested in participating in MSM, information about Cabaret can be found on the MVMS website under Student Activities.  Please download and print out all applications.  Crew applications can be submitted to the Main Office, and are due Friday, Nov. 16.  Bring Cast applications with a photo attached to your audition on EITHER Tuesday, Nov. 27 OR Thursday, Nov. 29 for Ensemble Cast and Wednesday, Nov. 28 for Talent Acts.  SIGN UPS for auditions are on the Cabaret Board next to Ms. Lamar's office in the Main Hallway.  We're all in this together!

Interested in Community Service? Google ‘Community First at MVMS’! It will lead you to our website and many fun, interesting and important ways to give back in your community. You’ll find even more find options on our ‘Ongoing Opportunities’ page. And if you submit a form for Community First hours (also on the website!) you can earn volunteer credit for the good work you are doing. Community First also lists opportunities for volunteer service from time to time on the school bulletin board by the front office. Check out what you can do in and for your community TODAY!

Listen up MVMS students! There are Box Tops for Education on many of the products we use. Look for them on your household and food purchases! You probably see them all the time and think nothing of them. Well, they are worth 10 cents or more. Our school has earned over $400 dollars with box tops. We want to raise more! If you see a box top, please cut it out and bring them Ms.Thebaut in Room 92!!!!

Get your Diabolos while they’re still available! Sales will end Thursday of this week. Bring $25 cash or check payable to Jester Games to Ms. O’Meara in the PE portables and get one for yourself!

MVMS Basketball is coming up! Anyone interested in MVMS Basketball, there is an informational meeting TODAY at lunch in the gym. Tryouts will be held November 9^th to November 16^th. The full tryout schedule is on the MVMS website under Student Activities>Student Athletics and is posted on the sports bulletin board across from the library.

The Spelling Bee Club will meet in room 32 TODAY at lunch. See you there!

The Book Club is meeting TODAY at lunch in room 4. Come to talk about the book Wolf Hollow and help pick our next read!
