Cabaret News: Thanks to all of
those who signed up for auditions to be in the Ensemble Cast or a Talent Act
and to those who handed in their applications to be a part of the Stage
Crew. The first day of auditions for the Ensemble Cast is TODAY after
school in the Chorus Room. Please remember to BRING YOUR
SIGNED APPLICATION FORM as you will be required to turn it in before the
audition. You do not need to have anything prepared -- just bring water
and lots of enthusiasm!! You are required to stay for the ENTIRE
AUDITION. If you have questions about Cabaret, go to the Cabaret site under
Student Activities on the MVMS website. It is also VERY
important for you to read and listen to the Daily Bulletin to get the latest
information as well.
Holiday Wishes news: This Thursday
bring your lunch to the multimedia room, and learn about the work of vital
local organizations like Homeward Bound, the largest agency in Marin helping
the homeless, or the Marin Foster Care Parents Association, dedicated to making
the lives of foster families in Marin better. Some foster kids are students
just like you; some of them have been separated from their families due to
abuse or neglect, but they are still able to learn and thrive in a family able
to offer them safety and stability. Come on Thursday and hear about these and
other organizations and ask questions to find out more!
Bonsoir! “A Night in
Paris”, the Parent-Daughter Dance will be held this Friday,
November 30th. Get your tickets for this fun evening before they
sell out!
Hi Students! Do you like snow and live music? Are you looking for
community service hours? Grab a friend and come volunteer at the Kiddo!
booth at the Mill Valley Winterfest this Sunday, December 2nd. Contact
the Kiddo! office if you’re interested. Parents, there are also opportunities
for you to help out- contact the Kiddo! office for details!
MVMS Basketball tryouts are being held this week. The full
updated tryout schedule is on the MVMS website under Student
Activities>Student Athletics and is posted on the sports bulletin board
across from the library.
Everyone please power down your cell phones or other personal
electronics NOW and put them in your backpack until the end of the school day
