Calligraphy students: Your first meeting will be tomorrow, Wednesday, at 7:30am in Ms. Peet’s room 36.

Project Giveback will meet at lunch tomorrow, Wednesday, October 3rd in Ms. Lewczyk’s room 20.

The first Yearbook Club meeting will be Thursday at lunch in Room 7, Ms. Watenpaugh's room. Hope to see you there!

Tomorrow, Wednesday, Oct. 10th, is International Walk to School Day, the largest day of climate action in Marin County! Join your friends and have fun walking, biking, skating, or scooting that morning for a treat and a chance to win a beautiful, royal blue Alite backpack and HydraPak.   Walk and roll for fun and to help eliminate climate change.


Students, please remember that you required to adhere to all traffic laws, rules, and regulations. This means crossing the street in the crosswalk when you have the light, and not jay-walking. Please remember to be safe and responsible when coming to and from school.


Students please remember that the school building is CLOSED in the morning until the first bell rings at 8:35am. If you have an appointment to meet a teacher before school, please use the outside door that leads directly into their classroom.

Hello all MVMS readers: Do you like the book Refugee? Would you like to read more books by the author? Refugee author Alan Gratz will be at Mill Valley Middle School in October, to talk about his new book, Grenade. Grenadeis about a 13-year-old Japanese boy who is ordered to kill American soldiers at the end of World War Two. Come to the library to get a pre-order form if you would like to buy a copy signed by Alan Gratz. Book Passage will donate a portion of the sales to the MVMS library.

Attention 8thGraders: Do you have Ropes Course permission slips or donations in your backpack? If you do, ask your teacher if you can bring them to the office RIGHT NOW!

All Students please power down your cell phones or other personal electronics NOW and put them in your backpack until the end of the school day.
