May Day is here and it’s
time to deliver those beautiful bouquets to The Redwoods! Come to the Staff
Room at lunch TODAY and help us brighten the days of seniors in our community!

The Mill Valley Parade Committee is seeking student essays – 500 words
or less – on any topic that has to do with Memorial Day (family history of
military involvement, service to the country, Memorial Day memories, etc.).
Two to three essays will
be selected and these students will get to read their essays at the start of
the parade, and then ride on a special opening vehicle in the front of the
parade. It is a big honor!!
Please submit essays to

Did you know that every
year, 225,000 people rely on food from the SF Marin Food Bank? The food bank supports seniors, veterans,
students, and families. May 2nd through the 16th bring canned food to school to
donate! This year, since it’s 2018, our school goal is to collect 2018 pounds
of food! We can do it with your help. Please support our community! Bring your
non-perishable food to your first class of the day which can then be dropped
off to Mr. Doyle room 3 or Ms.Thebaut room 92. Please no glass containers.
