“Action is the antidote to despair.”

Students: Please remember to bring headphones or earbuds with you every day in your backpack, as they are required for testing. Of course, you should also have your ipad and ensure it is fully charged.

Attention 8th Graders: If you have Stinson Field Trip and Graduation Dance Party permission slips or donations, please bring them to the office.

Only three days until May Day!
This year, we are excited to announce that May Day participating organizations this year include our neighbors, the Redwoods, residents of the Fireside Apartments, Windchime Memory Care of Marin, Aegis of Marin, Aegis of Corte Madera. You can support seniors in our community by getting involved this year. Donate a vase from your home, which will be lovingly repurposed into a beautiful bouquet. Bring your donated vases to the collection box in the front office all this week and begin thinking about donating flowers from your garden or from your favorite flower spot next Monday.

Students: The library will be closed at lunch on Tuesday, May 1st for the California Young Reader Medal party.

Hey Retro Gaming Club! The Tetris tournament is today after school in the multipurpose room! If a contestant does not show up, there is no retake or consolation prize! Hope to see you there.

The Mill Valley Parade Committee is seeking student essays – 500 words or less – on any topic that has to do with Memorial Day (family history of military involvement, service to the country, Memorial Day memories, etc.).
Two to three essays will be selected and these students will get to read their essays at the start of the parade, and then ride on a special opening vehicle in the front of the parade.  It is a big honor!!
Please submit essays to Ms. Miller at nmiller@mvschools.org by May 18, 2018.
