“Problems are only
opportunities in work clothes.”
TODAY
is March Madness 2018! Come to the gym after school and
shoot free throws to raise money for breast cancer research! Meet Jennifer Azzi
and join your friends and teachers in the fun. There will be gifts for every
participant. Don’t miss this important annual MVMS event!
Student
Council has news for you, so listen up!
Thanks to everyone who
participated in our Endangered Species
Door Decorating contest! During
Panther Time on TODAY student council members will be coming around to check
out the doors. All classes who participated in the event will get fun sized
candy treats. Since 6th graders will be in an assembly we will leave the treats
on your desks. Each grade level winning door will receive an additional prize
when we get back from break. Enjoy your Spring Break and we hope you can
keep the decorations on until April 23rd to honor Earth day.
Hey MVMS!
Are you ready for the last day before break?
Dress up in your Pajamas,
for Pete’s sake!
In all of your classes feel comfy and cozy
You’ll be so happy you’ll want to dance ring around the rosy
Don’t forget: Dress up in your PJs Friday, April 6th before break!
Our
Annual Go Green Challenge is here! From now through Friday, April 6th,
walk, bike, skate, carpool, or take the bus, every day to go green! On random
selected days, you can get stamps and be entered into our drawings for a GoPro camera
and other prizes. To receive your stamp, go to the front of the school on the
surprise days when you see Student Council waiting at the tables, playing
music, giving out treats and stamping those cards. See you out there!
Seventh
Graders! If you didn’t attend the “Hey, Maybe I’ll apply to be a WEB Leader” meeting yesterday at lunch,
you sure missed out! Still think you might want to be involved as an 8th
grader next year? If this sounds like you—or even if you’re not sure—there will
be another informational meeting tomorrow, Thursday, April 5th during lunch in
the gym. Find out what it’s like to be a WEB Leader, hear from past WEB
leaders, or just come to hang out— all are welcome and encouraged to come on
by, even if you’re just a little bit curious.
