“Confidence is
sometimes rooted in the unpleasant, harsh aspects of life and not in warmth and
safety.”
Students:
Please remember to bring headphones or
earbuds with you every day in your backpack, as they are required for
testing. Of course, you should also have your ipad and ensure it is fully
charged.
Attention 8th Graders: The deadline for
Stinson Beach Field trip forms and Graduation Dance Party forms and donations
has been extended to Wednesday, April 25th. Please turn them in to
your Panther Time teacher.
For May Day, MVMS partners with organizations that support respected elders & seniors in our community. How can you help? Throughout the week you can donate any gently used vases at the front office. Your vase will be repurposed into a beautiful and memorable gift to seniors in our community. You can also come next Monday, April 30th at lunch and help arrange gorgeous bouquets with us, with flowers donated from Whole Foods, Trader Joes, and perhaps even from your garden! Stay tuned as we highlight how you can get involved this year in May Day and join in this wonderful, longstanding community service event!
The Mill Valley Parade Committee is seeking student essays – 500 words
or less – on any topic that has to do with Memorial Day (family history of
military involvement, service to the country, Memorial Day memories, etc.).
Two to three essays will
be selected and these students will get to read their essays at the start of
the parade, and then ride on a special opening vehicle in the front of the
parade. It is a big honor!!
Please submit essays to
