STUDENTS:  Important reminder - There are no skateboards allowed at lunch or recess. Skateboards must be left in your first session class and picked up and the end of the school day.

Grand Pig Prix race finalists and 8th grade ice cream party will take place today during lunch. All pig race finalists, please check in at the tent at the start of lunch.  You must check in if you want to race your pig.

MVMS students and staff….Halloween is right around the corner.  Get ready to find your perfect costume and come to school next Friday dressed up for our Annual Halloween Spirit Day.  Student Council will be having a huge raffle for awesome prizes for all those that participate. We will also be hosting our popular costume contest at lunch for categories including: most elegant, funniest, most unique, scariest, best look-a-like, and best group.  Show your Panther Pride and come dressed to impress.  Be there or be scared…wooooooooooooo.

Halloween is coming AND….so is Lost and Found Clear Out Day.   Only three more days before vampires sneak into MVMS and give all your cozy clothes and lunch boxes to goblins.   Don’t let that happen.   Run! Get your stuff today!

Club News

Mathletes Club meets at lunch today in Ms. Ferreira's room, #33 in upper sun. Bring your lunch and enthusiasm!

Yearbook Club Group 1 will meet in Mrs. Fischer's room #31, during lunch today.

Beyond Differences meets at lunch today in the multimedia room.

Sports News

Cross Country team - there will be a practice and a party this Thursday, October 29, at 3:00pm.  Please turn in your uniforms to Ms. Palmer to receive your deposit.  You may also bring them to practice on Thursday.

MVMS basketball sign ups for all students in all grades will happen at lunch today and tomorrow in Ms. Palmer's classroom 84!!  You must sign up to try-out!! 

7th grade LFL news - Both teams tied yesterday so there will be a college-style overtime at the regular game time today to determine who will play in the semifinals tomorrow.
