STUDENTS:  Important reminder - There are no skateboards allowed at lunch or recess. Skateboards must be left in your first session class and picked up and the end of the school day.

 

Grand Pig Prix pig race finalists and 8th grade ice cream party will take place Tuesday, 10/27 during lunch.  Please check the postings around the school to see if you qualify.

MVMS students and staff….Halloween is right around the corner.  Get ready to find your perfect costume and come to school next Friday dressed up for our Annual Halloween Spirit Day.  Student Council will be having a huge raffle for awesome prizes for all those that participate. We will also be hosting our popular costume contest at lunch for categories including: most elegant, funniest, most unique, scariest, best look-a-like, and best group.  Show your Panther Pride and come dressed to impress.  Be there or be scared…wooooooooooooo.

We are one week away from a total Lost and Found Clear Out.  This means ALL items from the Lost and Found will be cleared out and donated. Start the weekend by finding your lost possessions.   Visit the Lost and Found before you leave school today.

Then come to our Brown Bag Lunch today in the multimedia room at lunch to hear from Mark Riedy, a public relations manager, who combines his love for the outdoors with his passion for advertising into an exciting career in media relations. Calling all Math Superstars! We want you to represent MVMS in the national AMC 8 math contest. If you are interested, please sign the sheet on your grade lever bulletin board. See your math teachers for details. High scoring students are invited to participate in the AMC 10.

Sports News

MVMS basketball sign ups for all students in all grades will happen at lunch next Monday 10/26, Tuesday 10/27, and Wednesday 10/28 in Ms. Palmer's classroom 84!!  You must sign up to try-out!!
