Next Wednesday, October 7, is International Walk and Roll to School DayStudent Council will be handing out treats in the front of the school for all students who walk, bike, scooter, or skateboard to school.  This is the largest day of action at Mill Valley Middle School, in Marin County, and in the world.  Remember, if you live too far, get dropped off so you can walk part way. So everyone, join in and let’s make a difference by “going green” to school on Wednesday, October 7th.  


Hey MVMS students, do you want to have your song played during lunch on Fridays? During the daily morning music?  There is a box in the Library where you can submit your song requests. Just write down the name of a song and artist and you could hear your request during the morning music or at lunch on Fridays!  Make your suggestion soon, and maybe your song will be played next week!

Beyond Differences leader applications are due to your counselor today, Friday, October 2. 

Calligraphy Club will meet on Wednesdays and Fridays at 7:15am - please note the time correction.

The first meeting for the Rubik’s Cube Club is next Monday, October 5th in Room 36, Upper 7th Grade Pod—Ms. Peets’ room.

Calling all lovers of scary stories and adventures! The MVMS Book Club will read “Doll Bones” in October! A creepy book about three kids who must put a ghost to rest, Doll Bones is perfect for Halloween. Check it out the from the library and read chapters 1-5 for our first meeting on Wednesday, October 7 in Room 1 at lunch.
