“Cultivate Virtue in oneself, and Virtue will be real.
Cultivate Virtue in the family, and Virtue will grow.
Cultivate Virtue in the village, and Virtue will spread.
Cultivate Virtue in the nation, and Virtue will be plenty.
Cultivate Virtue in the world, and Virtue will triumph everywhere.”

Would you like some cool new socks? Do you want to help support the fire and mudslide victims here in California? Well you have both! Come to an informational meeting on Monday, March 5th at lunch in room 27 to find out about “Socks for a CAWS” and get the details about how you can help!

Hello MVMS! Anyone looking for a Book Club? Well you’ve found one! The first meeting will be Monday, March 5th in room 27. We will pick the book at the first meeting, then at the following meeting we’ll discuss it. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to come!

Students: The Lost and Found is overflowing with jackets, water bottles, PE clothes and lunch containers. Very kind parent volunteers have sorted and organized these orphaned items. NOW IT’S YOUR TURN! Make a trip to the Lost and Found and retrieve your items now. They will be donated next Thursday, March 8th.

Parents: Have you seen that great jacket/sweater/water bottle/lunchbox with your son or daughter lately? It may be in our Lost and Found!

Students, on rainy days the building will open at 8:20am for you to come in out of the rain. Please avoid arriving earlier than that to school. When the doors open at 8:20am, 7th and 8th graders are to report to the library, while 6th graders are to report to the Multi-Media Room. Once those rooms are full, students will be directed to sit quietly by the doors at the end of the hallway, or in the main hallway itself.
