". . . I believe that we are all teachers. We teach with every act we perform, during each waking moment of life."
Once again, Mill Valley Middle School has done well in the
2016 Phillips Writing Contest. There were a record number of contestants
from all over Marin County this year, and four of the winners were from the
Middle School’s 6th grade. They are: Honorable Mention - Sammy Nichols,
President’s Award - Pablo Stuart, 2nd Place - Eloise Weir, 1st Place -
Alana Concannon. Congratulations to these students and thank you
to everyone who entered the contest.
Congratulations MVMS! Yesterday’s bake sale was an
amazing success! We raised over $200 from selling sweets. We’d like to thank
all of you for contributing to the great cause of saving women from Domestic
Violence. All of the profits we made will go the Center For Domestic Peace
shelter in San Rafael. Thank You!
Attention all MVMS citizens. Do you think we need to
change our world for the better? Do you wish politicians would come up
with better ideas for doing so? Well, here is your chance to weigh in on
some great ideas about how to address big issues. 7th graders are calling
on you to participate in our “Vote for Change” mock election this week.
Flex your electoral muscle and cast your vote on our 23 propositions to
make the world a better place. Your Panther Time teachers will pass out
ballots today and you can turn yours back in to your Panther Time teacher OR
drop it off in the red ballot box in the library anytime before this Friday,
