"I look at what is happening on our planet, and I see nation against nation, race against race, religion against religion - but I still feel hope that at least on an individual basis connections can be remade . . ."

Attention all students and teachers - the library will be closed at lunch today to set up for a special event this afternoon.

The deadline to submit community service hours is June 1st. Please turn in your forms to the Community First box in the front hall cabinet.

Attention all MVMS citizens.  Do you think we need to change our world for the better?  Do you wish politicians would come up with better ideas for doing so?  Well, here is your chance to weigh in on some great ideas about how to address big issues.  7th graders are calling on you to participate in our “Vote for Change” mock election this week.  Flex your electoral muscle and cast your vote on our 23 propositions to make the world a better place.  Your Panther Time teachers will pass out ballots today and you can turn yours back in to your Panther Time teacher OR drop it off in the red ballot box in the library anytime before this Friday, May 27.  If you want to know more about these 23 different ballot initiatives, stop by the library and check out the projects on display, or ask your Panther Time teacher for a copy of the Voter Information Guide.

Hey MVMS, everybody shout hooray
Because coming up is tie-dye day.
Don't get out your shirts that are plain or plaid
Get out your tie-dye because it'll be rad.
This spirit day will be held on June third
So make sure to tell your friends to spread the word.
We will also have a raffle for those who participate
The prize is a movie gift card so save the date.
Remember Friday, June third is tie-dye day
And our school spirit will blow you away!
