“A friend is one who always pays us the compliment of expecting from us all the virtues.”

Do you like hot chocolate? Me too! Get to school green on Friday, December 8th by carpooling, walking or rolling and Safe Routes will give you a free hot chocolate. Don’t let rain stop you from going green; talk with your friends and neighbors and set up carpools. See you at Carpools for Cocoa on Friday!

The Retro Gaming Club is cancelled for today. It will resume next week.

There will be Breakdancing in room 84 at lunch TODAY. Join us!

This Friday will be the final day to bring in the Holiday Wish gifts to school. Remember they can be dropped with the red-aproned volunteers in the morning pickup lane, or brought to the office. On Saturday, a team of student and parent volunteers will wrap presents and write Holiday cards. We may even hear from a special guest. This is truly awesome MVMS!  Thank you for putting your community first by bringing joy to others over the holidays.

The Library will be closed TODAY after school for the Staff Meeting.

Attention 7th grade Lunchtime Football League participants: Playoffs are this week with Teams A vs. B TODAY and Teams c vs. D on Friday. Be ready to play!

Great news! Spectacularly, ALL of the wishes requested from MVMS in our Holiday Wishes Drive have been pledged by our generous MVMS community! This week the gifts are being collected by fellow student and parent volunteer teams wearing red in the morning drop off lane or at the main office. Friday is the final day to bring your gifts to school. Volunteers who signed up will meet this Saturday in the MVMS library to wrap, make cards and deliver gifts to our partners at Homeward Bound, Huckleberry House Youth Program, The Marin Foster Care Parents Association, Sunny Hills Services and the Center for Domestic Peace. Thank you for putting your community first by bringing joy to others in need over the holidays!

This Friday, two days from now, marks the return of the Great WEB Program Lollipop sale. This will take place behind the library during lunch. Lollipops are only one dollar. See you then!
