The Track and Field meeting will be held TODAY in the gym right after school until 3:15pm. Please bring your Athletic Participation Form with you- it’s available on the MVMS website under Athletics.

The Movie & Games Review Club is cancelled TODAY.

Don't forget to turn in your ballot for the California Young Reader Medal awards by Friday, March 29 at 3 p.m. Students who vote for their favorite of the three CYRM books will be invited to a pizza party in the library. 

Students this is a reminder to all of you: Phones are to be powered off- not on airplane mode or silent- from the first bell until dismissal every day and placed in their backpacks. Students using their phones during the school day will have them confiscated AND will automatically serve an after school detention as stated in the student handbook. Students needing to contact a parent during the school day can do so by using the phone in the office; parents can get an emergency message to their student by calling the school office.

Attention to all MVMS clubs - if you would like photos of your club in the school yearbook, please take photos at your next meeting and email them to Ms. Zeisler or Ms. Watenpaugh. You can also come see us if you need help.

Attention all 7th GRADERS. Ms. Varboncoeur and Mr. Aquino are seeking approximately seventy-five 7th graders to become WEB Leaders in 8th grade! We welcome any 7th grade students who are looking for an opportunity to become a leader, have fun, and make MVMS a more friendly, welcoming place. Not sure what being a WEB Leader means for you? We will be holding an informational meeting TODAY at lunch in the Multi Media Room. Grab your lunch and make your way to the MMR by 12:15 to hear all about WEB from Mr. Aquino, Ms. Varboncoeur, and current 8th grade WEB Leaders. Who knows, you may even grab an application and be well on your way to being a school leader by the time the meeting is done! We look forward to seeing you there!

All three of our Girls Basketball Teams will be playing in Championship games TODAY at Miller Creek: 6^th Grade at 4pm, 7^th Grade at 5pm and 8^th Grade at 6pm. Come cheer on your friends! Good Luck Girls and Go Panthers!

Lunchtime March Madness 4 v.4 Tournament

Attention all 8th grade hoop stars, it's March Madness time!! If you are interested in playing in the 4 on 4 basketball intramural tournament, please sign-up in Room 85 @ Recess and Lunch.   Any questions please see  Mr. O’Dea.

The 7^th Grade Dance is coming soon! It’s gonna be a blast, so get there fast!   The theme is NEON. We will have glowing balloons, great music, fun activities, a lot of competition and a super-ultra-fun photo booth. 

It’s guaranteed fun - that’s the truth! Wear bright, neon, or white colors. 

Friday, March 22^nd from 7-8:30pm in the gym.

Just bring $10 and your school ID card to attend.
