Remember to turn in your ballot for the California Young Reader Medal awards by Friday, March 29 at 3 p.m. Students who vote for their favorite of the three CYRM books will be invited to a pizza party in the library. 

Attention all 7th GRADERS. Do you remember going through WEB Orientation when you were in 6th grade? Do you remember having your very own 8th Grade WEB Leader that helped welcome you to MVMS? Well, you now have the opportunity to become a WEB Leader yourself! Blue application packets are now available in every 7th grade teacher's classroom, the library and the front office. To complete the application, you must receive a parent signature and 2 teacher recommendations. So plan ahead, because the deadline is FRIDAY, April 5th! Please see Ms. Varboncoeur or Mr. Aquino with any questions.

Students this is a reminder to all of you: Phones are to be powered off- not on airplane mode or silent- from the first bell until dismissal every day and placed in their backpacks. Students using their phones during the school day will have them confiscated AND will automatically serve an after school detention as stated in the student handbook. Students needing to contact a parent during the school day can do so by using the phone in the office; parents can get an emergency message to their student by calling the school office.

Attention to all MVMS clubs - if you would like photos of your club in the school yearbook, please take photos at your next meeting and email them to Ms. Zeisler or Ms. Watenpaugh. You can also come see us if you need help.

Lunchtime March Madness 4 v.4 Tournament

Attention all 8th grade hoop stars, it's March Madness time!! If you are interested in playing in the 4 on 4 basketball intramural tournament, please sign-up in Room 85 @ Recess and Lunch.   Any questions please see  Mr. O’Dea.

The 7^th Grade Dance is TODAY Friday, March 22^nd!  It’s gonna be a blast, so get there fast!   The theme is NEON.Just bring $10 and your school ID card to attend.
