MVMS Students! Have you ordered your yearbook yet? If you buy early, you can
get your book at a discounted price! However, the lowest price is only
available for one more day! If you haven't ordered your yearbook yet, you can
do so by today, Friday, September 28th, for only $40. After today, the price
goes up to $45. You can order your yearbook online at www.jostens.com. And for those of you that
want to help make the yearbook, our first yearbook club meeting will be next
Thursday at lunch in Room 7, Ms. Watenpaugh's room. Hope to see you

Attention all 7th grade
A-Team Members! We want to celebrate your hard work during 6th grade orientation
TODAY at lunch. Meet Mr. Aquino and Ms. Varboncoeur in Ms. Varboncoeur’s room
(25, lower sun) as soon as you can after the lunch bell. Snacks and dessert
will be provided, and we will also begin to discuss future lollipop sales. We
look forward to seeing you there!
All Students are
reminded that there is no skateboarding or scootering on campus! Students are
to PICK UP THEIR WHEELS when they arrive on campus and leave them in a
classroom for the school day- either your first period class or the last period
class. Students violating this rule may have their skateboard or scooter
confiscated.
Hello all MVMS readers:
Do you like the book Refugee? Would you like to read more books by the
author? Refugee author Alan Gratz will be at Mill Valley Middle School
in October, to talk about his new book, Grenade. Grenadeis about
a 13-year-old Japanese boy who is ordered to kill American soldiers at the end
of World War Two. Come to the library to get a pre-order form if you would like
to buy a copy signed by Alan Gratz. Book Passage will donate a portion of the
sales to the MVMS library.
Attention 8thGraders:
All Ropes Course permission slips and donations are due. If you have not
turned them in yet, do it TODAY at the main office!
