"Teachers are the true heroes of the world."

6TH GRADERS: You should all be in your Panther Time classes this morning in preparation for your Field Trip. If you are not yet there, please go there now!

A HUGE “Thank You” to all WEB Leaders who helped out with Back to School Night last night. We are so proud of the continuous efforts you have put forth to make our school a more welcoming place for students and family members!

Your newly elected DJ, Katie Evans, is asking for suggestions for morning music! Nominate a favorite song by dropping a note in the suggestion box in the Library. Just make sure it is appropriate in both language and content!

Attention staff and students!
You’ve seen the book trailer in your Panther Time class, and on Monday you get to start reading the novel Refugee by Alan Gratz, the story of three kids who go on harrowing journeys. All face unimaginable dangers, but there is always the hope of tomorrow. Every morning for two weeks starting Monday, over 1,000 of us will read together to find out what happens to Josef, Isabel, and Mahmoud.
If you have already read Refugee, please stop by the library to pick up your Ambassador Pass. You can also pick up one of the books Ms. Palmer has hand-selected to go along with the Refugee story. And if you would prefer to hear the book read aloud, you can stop by the library for a Read Aloud pass as well.

Attention 8thGraders: All Ropes Course permission slips, lunch orders and donations are due to your Panther Time teachers!

All Students please power down your cell phones or other personal electronics NOW and put them in your backpack until the end of the school day.
