"Success is achieving the maximum of your potential in the situation that you are in."

Congratulations Mill Valley Middle School for having one of the highest percentage of students walking, biking, rolling or carpooling to school in all of Marin County! The rainy season is here so it's a good time to talk with your friends and parents about forming carpools. You don't have to get your new shoes soaked to stay green. Student council is making a video to promote and encourage more carpooling to school. Send your selflies or groupies of you and your friends carpooling to school if you want to be in the video. Send pictures to Ms. Thebaut at nthebaut@mvschools.org by Friday, December 17th.  We can't wait to see you all being green!

Thanks to all who have already donated non-perishable foods to such a worthy cause. We have a great start to the Food Drive.  Please keep bringing in your bags of food so that we can reach our goal of 2015 lbs.  We still have a ways to go so keep up the good work.  Remember to bring your bags of food to Room 3 first thing in the morning.  We can reach our goal with everyone’s help!  Thanks for supporting your community.  As it stands right now 8th grade is in 3rd place with a total of 47 lbs. contributed, 7th grade is in second place with 68 lbs. contributed, and 6th grade is in 1st place with 361 lbs. contributed. The school as a whole has contributed 476 lbs.!  Let’s keep donating!  We must have all food here by next Wednesday, December 16th.

Attention cooking club members. If it is raining, we will need to postpone cooking club due to indoor lunch. Please listen for the announcement prior to lunch. If we have to stay in, there will be no cooking club meeting today.
