Due to the large number of girls who were interested in Cheerleading at TAM, they are working on putting together a Junior Varsity Cheer Squad.  There are flyers in the front office and a quick Google form to fill out so stop by the front office if you are interested.

Club News
Staff and Students -Tomorrow Student Council will be having TWIN DAY!  Find a friend, or two, or three and dress alike.  Get creative and participate.  Staff, be sure to talk with your pod mates and dress alike.  Student Council members will be walking around campus during lunch  handing out treats to everyone who participates.  The more people who dress alike, the more fun it is.  So remember… let's celebrate TWIN DAY tomorrow!


Diabetes Club meeting at lunch today, Thursday, in room 26.



Attention Eco Top Chef team! Please come to our final meeting today at lunch in Ms. Zeisler's room. It is our last chance to rehearse our presentation before the competition on Sunday!

Sports News
Volleyball Club will meet today, Thursday, from 3:10-4:30. Stay as long as you can. Volleyball Club will resume next Thursday, May 21, from 3:10-4:30.


MVMS 2015 Track and Field results:

70 students made the team

43 qualified for the championship meet

38 of those 43 placed at the championship meet in at least one event



For the second year in a row, MVMS won the most events with a total of 11 (8 individual and 3 relays). Lukas Affeltranger broke the previous Marin county 100m record of 12.10 seconds (set by Lucas Janetos from MVMS in 2010) with a time of 12.00 seconds. Nava Kohn broke two records: She won the 100m in a time of 13.00 seconds (previous record was 13.27 seconds set in 2002). Nava also won the 200m in a time of 27.70 seconds (previous record was 27.85 seconds set in 2005).
Other individual winners are: Lauren Ross won the championship in the high jump AND the long jump which is a very rare feat if it has ever happened before! Lily Hemmert won the championship in the high jump in her class with a personal best height of 4'8". Sam Sternfels won the championship in the 600m run with a time of 1:51


All track uniforms need to be turned in to Ms. Palmer, room 84, by next Friday, May 22nd to get your deposit back.
