“It matters if you don’t just give up.”

Attention, Readers! The All School Read committee is starting to look for next year’s book, and we want your ideas for something everyone from 6th to 8th grade can read and enjoy. Have you read something you loved? Do you have a favorite title you like to recommend to all of your friends? Wouldn’t it be cool if you selected our next book? Write your book title on the poster across from the library, and help us find next year’s All School Read.

Hey 6th graders! Join us at the MVMS gym tonight from 7-8:30 pm for your 6th grade dance: Winter of Love! Just bring your Student ID and $10 to the door to have some fun! Can’t find your ID? Stop by the front desk and you can get another one printed for $1. See you there!

Attention all students! Are you interested in taking home an MVMS Yearbook at the end of the year? Online preorders for the yearbook will only be around for one more month! Yearbook preorder sales close at the end of February. But you can still order now! Go to jostensyearbooks.com to order your yearbook if you have not done so already. Come see Ms. Zeisler in Room 45 if you have any questions.

Thank you to all those students who show their Panther Pride by cheering on our student athletes at home games! Please remember there is NO FOOD OR DRINK ALLOWED in the gym- please respect our school and the gym rules.

CABARET NEWS! Tickets to Cabaret are NOW ON SALE!  While you will all have the opportunity to see Middle School Musical during the school week, it is always exciting to see your classmates perform again.  Bring your families and your neighbors!  Public performances are Friday, March 1 at 7:30pm; Saturday, March 2 at 7:30pm; and Sunday, March 3 at 1pm.  Tickets are $10 for Students and $20 for Adults.  Purchase your tickets online by going to the Cabaret website (under Student Activities on the MVMS website) or prior to the performances.  Hope to see you there!

Students, please power down your cell phones and other personal electronics for the duration of the school day.
