“Respect for another’s
rights IS peace.”
Have
you finished reading Refugee? Aspire Public School in Oakland
would like 200 copies of Refugee so their students can read
about Joseph, Isabel and Mahmood, too. If you are willing to donate your
copy, drop it off in the library.
Attention all
students! Next week is Spirit Week at MVMS! Each day we have a
theme. Dress up and join the fun! Monday, it’s sports day, Tuesday wear
something Disney-inspired, Wednesday is the day for crazy hair, Thursday wear
your holiday garb, and Friday start off the break by staying in your (school
appropriate) jammies! Remember dress code is still in effect!
Students, please
listen carefully! We have received a significant number of complaints about
skateboarders around our community behaving in rude, disrespectful and even
dangerous ways. Remember that you must pick up your boards while on campus, around
town and in front of businesses like Safeway, Starbucks, and Juice Girl. Be
thoughtful and respectful members of your Mill Valley community.
Students please
power down your cell phones and other electronics now and leave them off
until dismissal.
