“Your success and happiness lie in you.”
Photo
Follow-up Day has
been rescheduled to November 14th. Students and who have not yet had their
photos taken yet will be called to the office throughout the morning. If you
want a re-take, you must make an appointment online at www.mugsyclicks.com before November 14th.
Students with scheduled re-takes will also be called to the office throughout
the morning.
Students!
Are you missing a jacket, lunchbox or water bottle? How about some PE clothes
or a pencil box? Make a trip to the Lost
& Found and see if it’s in there before everything is donated at the
end of the trimester. PARENTS-
Seriously, there are so many expensive articles of clothing, lunch boxes and water
bottles here. If you haven’t seen that hoodie on your kid lately,
you might want to accompany them to the Lost & Found and take a look for
it!
Show your Panther Pride and get ready to race! Bring
your sold raffle tickets to the tables at lunch and pick up your very own Bacon
Bits, Panther Kitty or Top Dog in time to put batteries in so you can race this
Thursday and Friday. Race winners will qualify for the Grand Prix races, more
candy and cool prizes next week! Will you be one of the top sellers who will
have a ‘once in a middle school lifetime’ chance to throw a pie at Mr.
Nelson???? You won’t have this chance in high school!! Don’t wait, get out
there and sell!!
Attention all students: On Wednesday, October 25th,
MVMS will be conducting our annual Disaster Drill. This is an important
opportunity to practice our response to a real disaster should one occur during
school hours. You are expected to be well behaved, responsible participants and
follow all instructions given by your teachers.
GSA
(Gay-Straight Alliance) will have its first meeting TODAY
at lunch in the multimedia room. Bring your lunch- all are welcome!
Mathletes!
Come to room 33 at lunch TODAY for some calculated
fun!
Hello fans of Martin and Caitlin from I Will
Always Write Back: We are excited to announce that Caitlin will be here
on Friday, November 3rd to speak to the entire school in assemblies
for each grade level. We need your help generating good questions to ask her.
And, for super fans, there is also an opportunity to have lunch with Caitlin
that day. If you are interested in asking Caitlin a question or having lunch
with her, go to the school library home page and fill out a brief questionnaire.
Also, if you are finished with your book and would like to pass it along to
another student at another school, please bring it to your Panther Time teacher
by Wednesday, November 1st.
