“The best teachers of
humanity are the lives of great men and women.”
The end of
the school year is approaching quickly! Students are reminded that all library
books are overdue and all textbooks are due Friday, June, 9th.
Replacement costs are the responsibility of the student.
And listen
up, here is the lowdown on ipads:
7th and
8th Graders: iPad Turn-In is Monday, June 12th, during 1st Period.
8th Graders,
be sure to have your iPad, case, charging cable, and charging brick.
7th Graders,
be sure to have your iPad and case. You will be keeping your cable and brick
over the summer, so be sure to put it somewhere you’ll find it in August!
Students will
be billed for any damaged, missing, or non-working items.
EVERYONE
needs to remove EVERYTHING from the back of your iPad and/or case except the
two district labels.
8th Graders,
your Google accounts will be deleted after June 19th, so you need to archive
any files you want to keep. Instructions will be available on the 1:1 Program
website, and help will be available after school Thursday and Friday, and
during recess and lunch on Friday.

Attention all
students: It’s almost time for yearbooks! If you ordered a yearbook, your
Panther Time teacher will distribute them during Panther Time on Wednesday,
June 14th. If you did not order a yearbook, there will be copies for sale after
school in the office on Wednesday, June 14th. Bring $50 cash or check made out
to MVMS to the office after Panther Time on Wednesday to purchase a yearbook.
If you don’t know if you have ordered one, there is a list of orders in the
front office or you can check with Ms. Zeisler in Room 10.
Breakdancing for the last time this year will be
in the gym at lunch.
Did you know
that 1 out of every 8 people experience chronic hunger? A World Savvy group
here at MVMS is trying to help by holding a food drive for the Marin Food Bank. Please bring
in canned food or non-perishables from now until Friday, June 9th.
Collection bins are in the front hallway of the school. Donate today because
hunger is year-round.
Hello Mathletes
and Rubik's-Cubers! Our end-of year pizza party is upon us!
Meet in Ms. Ferreira’s room (Upper Sun #33) this Friday to
celebrate a fantastic year for both clubs. Hope to see you there!
Have you lost
anything at school lately? The Lost
and Found will be cleaned out
and all items will be bagged for donation on June 15th. Time to check for your
missing sweatshirts, sports equipment, water bottles, etc.
Attention Yearbook Club members! There is an important meeting
TODAY in Room 10 at lunch.
