"Teachers open the door, but you must enter yourself."

Hey MVMS, are you excited to spread some winter cheer?
Well if you don’t know how, don't worry, student council is here!

We are very eager to introduce Snowflake Sweeties, the brand new winter slip
They're fun, amazing, fantastic and super hip

They are the best way to appreciate friends, teachers and everybody in between
We will be selling them for a week: December 7th through 14

To buy sweetie slips, go to Mrs Thebaut’s or Mr Doyle's room at lunch
Each slip is only $1, bring money so you can buy a bunch

And guess what? You can even customize them
Include the recipient, the recipient's panther time, and who it is from

Your recipient’s panther time teacher is the one thing you need to remember
If you provide that, student council will hand out your slip on the 21st of December

Remember to get your Snowflake Sweeties before it’s too late
Your support for student council + snowflake sweeties = a winter that's great

Have you purchased a yearbook yet?  The price will go up to $50 on January 20, so buy your book now.  Go to jostens.com to place your order.  If you have questions, see Ms. Zeisler in room 10.

Boys 6th Grade Basketball practice is cancelled TODAY.
The next Lollipop Sale is a week from today. Start making plans.

Cabaret News! Thank you to ALL of the over 120 students who auditioned for a part and the more than 70 who applied to be a part of the crew for Annie. The final cast and crew lists will be posted on the Cabaret board and on the Cabaret website at the end of the day TODAY.

Students, on rainy days the building will not be open until 8:20am for you to come in out of the rain, so please make arrangements so that you do not arrive so early to school. When the doors open at 8:20am, 7th and 8th graders are to report to the library, while 6th graders are to report to the Multi-Media Room. Once those rooms are full, students will be directed to sit quietly by the doors at the end of the hallway, or the main hallway itself.
Guess what MVMS?  It's the time of year when we should all be thinking about giving back to our community.  It's easy to help kids less fortunate than us.  Please join us for our Jacket Drive!  Please donate any gently used or new jackets to Mr. Doyle or Ms.Thebaut's room by Wednesday, December 21.  Donations will be taken to the Marin Foster Care Center to be given to foster kids.  You could even include a holiday card.  So donate a sweater or jacket to make a child's holiday better.

Are you interested in finding solutions to help our environment? Do you want to be part of the youth movement for sustainability? Then the YES Conference is for you! Join hundreds of Bay Area middle and high school students on Saturday, February 25th in San Francisco. To register please visit Ms.Thebaut in Room 92.

Students please turn off all cell phones and electronics at this time.
