Students! You are reminded that buying, selling or trading anything on campus is NOT ALLOWED. Yes, this includes slime and fidgets. Students are also cautioned to leave such items in their backpacks while in class or they will be confiscated. 

Greetings Mathletes! Did you know 3 out of every 2 people have trouble with fractions? Bring your lunch to Ms. Ferreira’s room 33 tomorrow and enjoy some math with friends!

Thanks to all that participated in the Go Green Challenge. Prizes will be raffled off TODAY during lunch. Winners of all the fabulous prizes will be announced at the end of the day. Come on out by the gym near the 8th grade lunch area and try some delicious fresh fruit smoothies, too. Our annual Bike blenders will be here on campus to make smoothies for all who come out and celebrate. We will also be handing out treats. Thank you MVMS for your continued support of the Go Green Challenge.

“What good can I take from this bad situation?"

Thanks to all that participated in the Go Green Challenge. Students please remember that Dress Code states that students are to dress appropriately for the school environment. This means that pajama bottoms are not to be worn to school except as part of a spirit day. Short shorts, skirts, and dresses or any clothing that exposes undergarments or midriffs are not allowed. Students not within the dress code will be sent to the office to change and a detention will be assigned.

Go green to school by biking, walking, rolling or carpooling and you will have a chance to win lots of cool prizes. From now through this Friday, April 28th student council and safe routes will be handing out go green sneaker cards. We will choose four random days in which we will be standing out in front of the school stamping your Go Green sneaker cards. Participate all four days and get your card stamped each time and you will be given the chance to win lots of prizes in our big raffle. Look for the tables in front of the school! Go Green to have a chance to win amazing prizes! And Go Green because it’s the fun way to go!

8^th Graders! The due date for all money and permission slips for end of year activities is TODAY. Please turn in all forms to your Panther Time teacher. Information about Graduation is now available on the school website.

Students, if you are going to arrive late to school, or leave early, you MUST bring a note signed by your parents to school with you explaining the reasons and timing of your absence. If you do NOT have a note with you, you may have to serve detention or you may be late leaving. The full procedure is on our website.

Lunches delivered to the office are for individual students only who have forgotten their lunch and not for parties or other students. Students are not permitted to have their parents deliver group or party lunches (pizza, for example). Beverages in glass bottles are not permitted on campus due to the danger of broken glass and beverages in takeout cups cannot be left for students as they spill in the cabinet and front office areas.
