“What good can I take from this bad situation?"

Thanks to all that participated in the Go Green Challenge. Our last day was today so hopefully you were able to get all 4 stamps.  Prizes will be raffled off tomorrow during lunch. Winners of all the fabulous prizes will be announced at the end of the day.  Come on out by the gym near the 8th grade lunch area and try some delicious fresh fruit smoothies, too. Our annual Bike blenders will be here on campus to make smoothies for all who come out and celebrate. We will also be handing out treats. Thank you MVMS for your continued support of the Go Green Challenge.

Kiddo! Night at the Giants is this Friday, April 28^th. Buy your tickets now on the Kiddo! website and enjoy great baseball and hear the MVMS Chorus sing the national anthem!

The library will be closed at lunch on Monday, May 1^st for the annual California Young Readers Medal pizza party.

Students please remember that Dress Code states that students are to dress appropriately for the school environment. This means that pajama bottoms are not to be worn to school except as part of a spirit day. Short shorts, skirts, and dresses or any clothing that exposes undergarments or midriffs are not allowed. Students not within the dress code will be sent to the office to change and a detention will be assigned.

Attention 7^th Graders! Lunchtime Football League is coming up. If you are interested in playing football during lunchtime, please sign-up in Room 85 TODAY.

Students, remember to bring your headphones to school with you every day and ensure your ipad is fully charged so that you can participate in testing over the next few weeks.

Remember to come to the conference room TODAY at lunch to help assemble May Day flower arrangements for residents of The Redwoods. All students are welcome and you can receive community service credit for your participation.
