Counting down to Thanksgiving break, we are highlighting community organizations that our school will help out during the MVMS Holiday Wish Drive. Today it's Huckleberry Youth Programs, a group that works with teens and families in Marin and the Bay Area to overcome adversity. Their programs strengthen families and empower teens aged 11-17 with a wide range of services that promote safety in times of crisis, support physical and emotional well being, encourage social justice and support educational success. Last year, MVMS students and families helped fulfill the holiday wishes of over 350 Huckleberry Youth clients through our Holiday Wish Drive. Following the Thanksgiving break, there will be more details about how you can help a teen in need in our community through this event.
