Club News
Tomorrow is national Be the One Day sponsored by the Beyond
Differences Club. We are asking you to take a pledge to help end bullying.
Come to the front of the gym at lunch where you can walk through a balloon arch
and fill out a post it note making your individual pledge of how you're going
to be the one and help be a part of the solution as opposed to part of the
problem. Some ideas you could pledge to do are to plan to sit with someone new
at lunch, say some kind words to someone or stand up to someone who's being
unkind to someone else. Someone once said, “We’re all mere threads, but what a
tapestry we make.”
Seventh Graders Who
Might, Just Might Be WEB Leaders. This is your sixth announcement about
the "Hey, Maybe I’ll Apply to be a WEB Leader" Information
Meeting tomorrow. By now you should have the idea. Find out
what it’s like to be a WEB Leader Monday in the Multi-Media room at
lunch. As a prize we’ll have free, yes, free application forms. All 7th
graders are welcome! Don’t be shy, just come on by.
Sixth Graders. You’ve been listening to all the
announcements for seventh graders about being WEB Leaders, but did you know
that there’s also a chance for you to be involved in the WEB program next year?
You can become a member of what’s known as the A-TEAM. This responsible, organized, and awesome crew helps
make the WEB program work, and they also help run the lollipop sales, too.
If you want to find out more, come to a lunchtime meeting a week from
tomorrow in the Multi-Media Room.
