"It gives me great pleasure to talk with the aged. They
have been over the road that all of us must travel and know where it is rough
and where it is level and easy."
Lace up your feet – the month-long Green Sneaker Challenge is coming to Mill Valley Middle School. This contest is to encourage all students to walk, bike, and carpool to school. We have incredible treats and prizes this year! You could win: a $25 gift card to SF Running Company, a basket from Tam Bikes (valued at $70) filled with gloves, bike light, water bottle, socks, and more, a mystery prize from Proof Lab, $20 to Juice Girl, and gift cards to Swirl Yogurt. Come to the welcome table in front of the school on Wednesday March 16 to receive a Green Sneaker Card. The Green Sneaker Card will be stamped once a week for four weeks at our welcome table every Wednesday morning. The goal is for each student to collect four stamps to be entered into a drawing for a chance to win our grand prize….a GO Pro camera.
Attention 6th graders! This week you will be selecting elective choices for your 7th grade year at MVMS. Wouldn't you love to talk face-to-face with older classmates who have already taken those electives? Wouldn't you like to ask them specific questions about those classes? Well, you GET TO! Tomorrow, Wednesday, at lunch-time, volunteer WEB leaders will be in the 6th grade lunch area to answer your questions about the electives they took in 7th grade. Find the elective consultants at tables in the amphitheater area during lunch!
