"The pen is mightier than the sword."

Please join the art department in congratulating the following artists: Ella Bogan, Emilie Moirignot, Maddie O’Keefe, McKenzie Holtzapple, Sandra Klyce, Simon Gooden, and Zach Hubbell.  Their work will be on display at the Mill Valley Community Center through March 30th.  There will be a reception on March 1st from 4:30-6pm.  

Do you want to continue to support your school? Bring box tops to Ms. Thebaut’s room 92. So far we have collected 1,500! Look for them on top toiletries, food products and thousands of other household products. As little 10 box tops can change a kid’s life!

Club News
MVMS Staff and Students -- we hope you enjoyed the assembly performances of The Sound of Music this week! There are THREE more performances this weekend, so please bring your friends and family to show.  Performances are tonight at 7:30pm, and tomorrow, Saturday, at 1pm and 7:30pm.  Tickets are available online until 2 hours before the show, and are $10 for students and $20 for adults.  You can buy tickets at the door by cash or check only.  Come support your classmates in the Cabaret!!

Movie Night WEB Leaders, today at lunch is our second meeting in Room 11.  Bring your lunch and pass the word.

Lollipops are coming back next Tuesday.  HOWEVER, we will be selling them somewhere not far from the Panther Café.  So 7th and 8th graders, if you haven’t gotten any lollipops because of the crazy distance you had to travel, fear not: The Lollipops are Coming to You.

Yearbooks For Sale!!
This is the last week you can order a yearbook - sales close on February 28th! Go to jostens.com to order or pick up a form at the front office! The Yearbook club is working hard at creating a fabulous book filled with great MVMS memories!

Sports News 
Seventh grade dodgeball tournament play will begin on Monday February 29.  Stay tuned for game announcements.

Attention all students interested in Track and Field: Track and Field will have its first practice on Monday February 29th…please meet in the activity room off of the gym right after school.
