"Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see the shadow."

Attention students and staff.  In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Student Council will have a breakfast sale this Friday before school starting at 7:45am.  The breakfast sale will be held in front of the school next to the flagpole. Doughnuts, scones, and other delicious pastries will be sold.  All proceeds will go towards an organization that helps foster leadership skills for today’s youth.  See you out there!

Hey MVMS, it’s fundraising time! Please bring in your box tops. You can easily find them on thousands of products from cereal boxes and paper supplies to toiletries, snacks, and drinks. All you have to do is cut out the box top stamp and bring them to Ms.Thebaut in room 92. Thank you and please bring in box tops!

Students: Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be a hostage negotiator or work for CSI? Then come to our next Brown Bag Lunch today, Wednesday,  in the multimedia room to hear from Rebecca Kuga. Ms. Kuga is a licensed psychotherapist and supervises the San Rafael Police Youth Services Bureau (YSB).  Rebecca wears many hats at work: in addition to being the YSB supervisor, she is a trained hostage negotiator, CSI team member and runs Camp Chance, the 5-day sleep-over camp that brings cops and kids together.
