Hi Chess Club! We will not be meeting tomorrow, so will see you after the break.

Attention all students:  Track & Field starts Monday, February 27.  Please meet in PE Portable 85 with Ms. Palmer after school.

Looking forward to seeing the WHOLE CAST, Student Directors, and Stage Managers at rehearsal TODAY from 3-6pm in the Chorus Room.  We are going to run the Whole show.
MVMS Students and Staff -- we can't WAIT for you to see our production of Annie  the week we return from February break.  All students will see student assembly performances, but consider coming to a public performance March 3-5.  Ticket information is on the MVMS website!  

Remember, tomorrow is carpool for cocoa!  All students who get to school green by carpooling, rolling, biking or walking can get a hot chocolate from student council and safe routes to school.  Call your buddies today to set up a carpool. 
 

We will be cleaning out the Lost & Found on March 9, so pick up your missing items before then!

GSA meets TODAY only if we do not have a rainy day lunch.  Bring your lunch and join us.

 "There comes a time when we must heed a certain call.  It's time to lend a hand to life, the greatest gift of all."

Attention all students:  TODAY during Panther Time, your teacher will be passing out yearbook confirmation slips to everyone who has ordered a yearbook for this year.  If you get a slip, that means you ordered a yearbook.  If you do not get a slip, that means you have not ordered a yearbook.  If you have not ordered a yearbook, but want one, place your order online at www.jostens.com by the end of this month.  If you have questions, see Ms. Zeisler in room 10.

"I am eager to learn from others whether it is a person doing their homework or someone at the highest level of government.  My father believed you could learn from "un peon o un presidente"..a farm worker or a president..and you should respect both equally."

What's up panthers, student council wanted to say hey

And remind you that, coming up, is Valentine's Day

For this special time, we have a lot planned

We're going to turn MVMS into a valentine's land

6th grade will wear white, 7th grade will wear red

And 8th grade will wear pink from toe to head

In addition to colors, we'll have music too

Because your DJ has picked love songs for you

These sweet tunes will play as you walk from class to class

Have your ears open during the periods in which you pass

This is all coming up soon, so shout hooray

And get ready to celebrate Valentine's Day
